This Huge Choir’s Uplifting Performance Brings ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ To Their Feet

Talent competition shows like American Idol and the Got Talent franchise have brought the talents of many incredible singers to the world's attention.

Performers like Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, One Direction, and even groups like iLuminate all got their start on a TV show and the world's a little better with their talents on full display. So what could be better than one talent singer? How about over 100 of them all at once?

As beautiful as the stars from Britain's Got Talent can sing, there's nothing quite as uplifting and chill-inducing as the glory of multiple voices coming together to lift our spirits.

Welsh choir Cor Glanaethwy, comprised of 162 singers ranging from 7 to 80 years old, brought their cover of "The Prayer" to the show's stage and blew everyone's minds! From the very first few singers, you can already tell their performance is going to be something special as the solos send goose bumps up and down your arms.

The rest of them join in, slowly and gently, and then, at 1:19, the song hits its climax and it's enough to bring a tear to your eye. We never see the audience's reaction, but it's safe to say there's not a dry eye in the house as they wave their lights.

It's not very often that judge Simon Cowell has something overwhelmingly positive to say, but he's very impressed with their cover, saying he had never heard anything like it. Bravo, Cor Glanaethwy!
