This Popular Board Game From Your Childhood Just Got A Lot More Fun — And A Little Dangerous!

We're all familiar with Hungry Hungry Hippos, the simple game where you control the jaws of one of the largest land mammals in the world. Known for their incredibly aggressive behavior, the hippo is one of the most feared animals in all of Africa. Their speed, massive jaws and tusks, and their overall anger issues have dubbed them one of the most dangerous animals in the world.

But they're pretty cute, and paired with the allure of their bright colors on the game board, Hungry Hungry Hippos is pretty addictive.

The game itself was introduced in 1978 to resounding commercial success. Over the years, the Milton Bradley product has made its way into millions of homes across America, there have even been talks of making a feature film with the hippos as the stars!

While a small game is a pretty great idea, an even better one has since been invented: Hungry Hungry Hippos — human style!

In this amazing video, we see the same premise as the board game, only with life-sized figures! It involves human beings lying on rolling wheels and being pushed into a big pile of colorful balloons. They try to "eat" as many balloons as they can by capturing them with a clothes hamper. The hippos get one chance before they're pulled back with a rope attached to them.

This is definitely a great, creative spin on a classic game! If you have the space and the equipment, you should try it!
