Bringing a pet into your home means learning all their different personality quirks over time. Birds seem to be a particularly eccentric animal when you discover all the silly ways they like to rule the roost. They might like to show off some stellar rock star moves, or maybe get a tad intense when it comes to things getting in the way of their preferred path. Of course, each unique habit makes those feathered friends all the more adorable!
The cutie in the video below, a cockatoo named Gryphon, displays a surprising knack for hygiene. Where most pets are more likely to bring a wake of messes to clean up, Gryphon like to keep himself neat and tidy. If nothing else, this clip proves how much he definitely cares about keeping his beak shiny as he grabs a cotton swab and starts brushing away. He looks like a human brushing their teeth, but way more charming with him clutching the swab in his tiny claw.
It makes me wonder if Gryphon keeps everything spick and span elsewhere around the house. I don't mean just his cage, but maybe he likes to pitch in when the dishes pile up in the sink or helping fold laundry. The handsome fella strikes me as someone who hates to see freshly washed and dried clothes linger in the hamper rather than placed in the closet and dresser where they should be. Just imagine his sweet face greeting you as your new housekeeper!
