I'm incredibly envious of people with an eye for making great art. They take a little paint, a brush, and a white canvas and they make masterpieces. Maybe they just need some clay and some deft hands.
In the case of visual artist Holton Rower, he just needs cans of paint and some wooden boxes.
He creates incredible sculptures by pouring various colors of paint over wooden blocks until they make beautiful patterns.
The end results are beautiful enough to be featured in galleries around the world, but I can't stop watching this time-lapse video of the sculptures being created.
Watching the paint dry sounds boring, but I love watching the paint slowly edge off of the box and onto the floor. It's surprisingly hypnotic and serene. It makes me wonder if I could do something similar in my house.
Of course, I should probably take time to paint my walls first — but this looks more fun.
