The Borges family in Maringa, Brazil have some extremely controversial pets, seven full grown tigers… because six wasn’t enough?!? After Aryas Borges rescued two abused tigers from a circus in 2005, he became so attached to them that he, his wife, and three daughters welcomed the giant cats into their family. Today they run a makeshift exotic animal sanctuary in their home with the cats, two lions and a Chihuahua named little living under one roof. The family believes that the ferocious felines have become dormant after years of living as their house pets, but that hasn’t stopped animal rights activists from scrutinizing and fighting to confiscate Aryas’ caretaker license. There is no doubt that this Brazilian family’s practices are unorthodox, but at least no one in the family has been hurt… yet. Are these animals gentle giants or dangerous and deadly?! Watch the video and decide!
