20-year-old Rion Holcombe dreamed of becoming a college student, but as a young man with Down syndrome, his road to get there had more obstacles than many of his peers. In December, an acceptance letter finally came. Thanks to his mother who captured it on video, we get to share in the celebration! Rion will be attending Clemson University’s LIFE program in Clemson, SC this fall, and MILLIONS of viewers have been inspired by his triumph. Only 6 or 7 students are chosen each year out of over 200 applicants from around the country! And guess what Rion did right after this video ends. Yep. Called EVERYONE he knew.
