Muffin tins aren't just for making muffins. In fact, they have many easy, fun, and definitely creative uses. From transforming your next barbecue to cooking eight omelets with ease, muffin tins really come in handy around the kitchen.
Recently, I discovered another wonderful hack that made serving ice cream at my parties a total breeze. Before the party starts, you can line a muffin tin with paper baking cups and put individual scoops of ice cream in each cup. You can even get creative and scoop different kinds of ice cream flavors to serve at your event.
Afterwards, you can transfer the tray to the freezer for up to several hours or serve right away. After the cake is cut, remove the paper baking cups and you can eat right out of it. These are perfectly portioned — and totally satisfying! This is so much easier than waiting for the ice cream to soften enough to serve or juggling several large containers of ice cream that will just sit and eventually melt if it is not put away immediately.
This is so much easier (and cleaner) than scooping onto individual plates and is sure to impress at your next gathering.
