In 1998, twin brothers Craig and Mark stopped by a twins convention in Ohio. When Mark saw Darlene there, it was love at first sight.
Darlene was there with her identical twin sister, Diane. Little did these sets of twin siblings know, Mark would one day marry Darlene, and Craig would one day marry Diane — on the very same day, at that! The two couples had a double wedding in 1999 after the brothers proposed on the same day.
Then, something even more incredible happened. Craig and Diane had identical twin boys in 2001. Keep in mind, identical twins have no hereditary traits that give them any predisposition to having identical twins themselves.
The two families now live next to one another in Houston. The families consist of all of the twins, Craig and Diane’s other son, and Mark and Darlene’s two girls.
This twins story is just as crazy as the one about a woman who was pregnant with a rare set of twins and didn’t even know it.
The odds of having identical twins are three in every 1,000 births, but the odds of an identical twin marrying another identical twin and then giving birth to identical twins? Now we're talking millions to one.
