INCREDIBLE! This Bird Stole A Camera, And The Footage Is BREATHTAKING! This Is A MUST WATCH!!

When the BBC hid this “egg cam” in the middle of a colony of Rockhopper penguins to capture them in their natural environment, there’s absolutely no way they could have imagined the footage would be this jaw-dropping. A Striated Caracara who was looking for a meal grabbed what it thought was an unhatched egg. After rolling it around and unsuccessfully trying to crack it, the bird did the only thing left it could: took it to try again later.

Seeing the up-close footage of the Caracara is great on its own, but when it finally gets a grip on the egg and begins to fly, I was in awe. This is the first aerial footage of a penguin colony captured from a bird of prey’s point of view, and it was a happy accident.
