Travel during the holidays can be stressful. There can be flight delays, long lines, and any variety of unexpected event.
If you think it's hard on you, imagine being a TSA (Transportation Security Agency) agent working security at a busy airport during the Holiday season. They are trying to keep us safe, but people throw so much attitude their way.
I know I was annoyed when TSA agents confiscated my shampoo for not being in a plastic bag, but despite the minor nuisance, I know that they were just doing their job.
The TSA now runs its own Instagram account where they post some insane photos of items they have confiscated from carry-on luggage. You won't believe some of the outrageous items they've seized. It seems they really have been keeping us safe.
Also…why would someone think it was alright to bring a cannonball onto a plane in the first place? Jeez.
Scroll down to see some crazy photos of items discovered by the TSA and please SHARE this article with everyone you know.
1. Bear repellent
I have had to deal with screaming children, drunk jerks and nasty flight attendants while at the airport, but never any bears.
2. Snakes
Apparently, Snakes On A Plane was actually a documentary.
3. Batman throwing stars
Even Batman must abide by the TSA's guidelines.
4. Guns smuggled inside of stuffed animals
How dumb is the person who thought they could disguise their handguns inside of a stuffed animal?
Also, how terrifying is it that someone wanted to bring a gun in the first place?
5. Whatever this is
I don't know what it is.
I don't want to know what it is.
I don't want to know why someone thought they could bring it on a plane.
6. A cannonball and antique gun.
I want to know how they thought a cannonball was within luggage weight restrictions.
7. A mace
So, this person casually put a mace in their carry-on right next to their laptop and a copy of the USA Today?
8. A knife attached to a walker
There are some dangerous grannies out there.
9. A meat cleaver
I don't like it when the person in the seat next to me eats smelly foods like tuna, but it's not as bad as a neighbor who plans to be carving meat.
10. Fireworks
I'm disturbed by the sheer number of fireworks that have been confiscated.
11. Bullets hidden in carved out books and Bibles
It's like a much scarier version of that elementary school prank where you hide a comic book inside your school book.
12. A grenade shaped anything
This e-cigarette ("vaporizer") is in the shape of a grenade. Sure, it's not the real thing, but why attract the attention?
Please SHARE this outrageous items with a friend…preferably not someone who does a lot of air travel.
