Most sixteen-year-olds are only starting to figure out what they want to do with their lives, but Isaac Waddington is already on his way to becoming a superstar. The soft-spoken teen appeared on Britain's Got Talent to perform Billy's Joel's "She's Always A Woman," and the audience immediately fell in love with his kind smile and little jokes. But when he sat down at the piano and started to sing, you could hear a pin drop. You'll know exactly why when you hear his performance.
Knowing how awkward and shy I was during my teenage years, it always impresses me when someone this young can not only get on stage in front of a national audience, but also completely blow everyone away. Just like this fifteen-year-old whose chilling performance made the judges jump to their feet, Isaac clearly has a natural talent that will only continue to grow as he gets older.
It's not just Isaac's beautiful voice that stuns everyone who listens to him — it's the emotion he puts into his performance. This is what people talk about when they describe "feeling" the music, and the way the judges react, it's clear that they're feeling it right along with him. I would absolutely love to see Isaac perform this song with Billy Joel himself, just like this lucky college student got to do!
Believe it or not, it's not Isaac's singing that left me with tears in my eyes. Watching his family finally get to see him on such a big stage really got to me — especially Dad's incredibly emotional reaction. It's clear how much his little brother looks up to him. Isaac's performance was truly incredible, and I have a feeling he'll go very far in this tough competition.
