In today's day and age, there's usually some sort of surprise at any wedding to you go to.
Sometimes, the groom has planned some over-the-top battle during the ceremony itself to prove his undying love for his wife to be. This kind of surprise, however, is much less common than, say, a hilarious groomsmen dance, or the bride singing a beautiful song to her new husband.
After all, what is marriage besides a lifetime full of surprises, both good and bad? You never know what each day will bring, so you may as well embrace that element of surprise from the very first day.
When this bride and groom sit down in the reception hall and prepare to listen to the bride's father give his father-of-the-bride speech, neither of them was expecting what transpired next.
You can usually expect this particular part of the wedding to get emotional. Giving away his little girl to a man she loves is a very exciting moment for a father. It can also be a bit sad, too. He's watched her grow up into a woman from a tiny baby, he's raised her to become the good person that she is today. Now, she's starting her own family, potentially to raise children of her own.
This father decided to let his feelings shine through an Italian aria. You have to watch when he changes the words to English, though.
