5-Year-Old Has ‘Meltdown’ On Train Ride But Mom Snaps Photo When Stranger Sits Down With Him

Gayna Pealling was taking a trip with her children by train. Suddenly, a day of travel turned into one of panic when her 5-year-old son, Jack, began having a meltdown in his seat.

Her little boy is autistic and has ADHD. He wasn't taking to the long train ride very well. It was clear that he was overwhelmed, and all he could do to cope was act out.

Gayna struggled — until a young man walked over. He sat with her, Jack, and Gayna's 4-year-old daughter, Amy. She didn't know it yet, but the 21-year-old man was about to save the day for everyone.

When she saw what the man named Dan was doing for Jack, she just had to post a photo of them together on Facebook to thank him for everything.

Keep scrolling to find out what happened when this young stranger approached Gayna's children!

She recently took a trip by train along with her two children, Jack and Amy.

However, their peaceful journey took a turn when Jack — her autistic 5-year-old who also has ADHD — began acting up.

Jack felt overwhelmed during the train trip and ultimately couldn't handle it. He had a meltdown right there in the train car with his mom and sister beside him while others looked on.

But not for long.

A young man came over to Gayna and her kids and offered to help. In that moment, everything changed.

The 21-year-old stranger named Dan sat down with Jack and Amy and began to play with them. He did his best to distract Jack by having a simple conversation with him and his sister.

Although it was a small gesture, it did so much to turn around an otherwise frustrating situation.

After Dan worked his magic, Jack remained calm and distracted. The 21-year-old was a source of comfort for the little boy when he needed it the most!

Gayna just had to snap and post a photo when she saw how much Jack's mood changed.
