14-Year-Old Boy Blows Everyone Away With This Surprising Whitney Houston Cover

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about talent contestants here at LittleThings, it’s to never judge a book by its cover.

In the case of 14-year-old Jack Vidgen, it couldn’t be more true. He may be young and small but this Australian boy has a true gift that you would never, ever expect by just looking at him.

While it’s not unusual for a young boy to be shy, Jack would get stage fright every time he’d try to sing in public. However, once you hear this kid sing, you’ll see he has no reason to be. All those years of singing for his mom and practicing in front of the mirror finally paid off when he made it to the Australia’s Got Talent stage.

Just like this nervous teen from Ireland, who found herself on the stage, Jack has been waiting for this special moment all his life. In the video, Jack reveals that he sings for his dad, who is at home suffering from multiple sclerosis, and wants to make him proud. When Jack walks out and reveals he’ll be singing “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston, the judges couldn’t have been more shocked.

Seconds later, it was impossible not to get chills from his perfectly-pitched young voice! As you’ll see, Jack Vidgen’s talent is out of the world and the judges couldn’t be more excited for him.

You have to love it when someone completely surprises you like this…especially such a young guy!
