My least favorite activity of the holiday season used to be wrapping gifts. That was, until I saw a viral video about the Japanese way of gift wrapping, which is very different than the techniques used by most Americans.
YouTube user "BeatTheBush" is here with a brilliant step-by-step tutorial on how to speed-wrap gifts like they do in Japan. "Since I'm explaining it as I go, it looks like it takes the same time as wrapping a normal present," he says. "However, the method allows you to increase your speed greatly as you get better."
With this method, the package is placed on a diagonal. With just a few moves and folds, any box is perfectly wrapped and the result is one amazing presentation in no time. In fact, this method of wrapping takes only fifteen seconds once you’ve mastered the technique. Plus, you only need three pieces of tape to achieve the perfect wrap!
