Jennifer Aniston celebrated her 50th birthday with a party last weekend, and her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, showed up.
Turning 50 is a big deal, and it's a cause for celebration. When you're Jennifer Aniston, that means a big party at a hotel in Los Angeles with 90% of Hollywood in attendance.
Jennifer made sure to invite all of her most cherished loved ones from throughout the years. That apparently included Brad Pitt, a source told People. Brad showed up at the hotel for the party with his long hair slicked back underneath a cap, the outlet reported. Jen was "very happy that he showed up."
"Basically, every single person who Jen loves attended. That included Brad,” the source said.
Jen apparently wasn't overly focused on Brad's attendance. The two send each other well-wishes occasionally, but they aren't super close.
Brad wasn't the only ex at Jennifer's party, either. She also invited John Mayer, whom she dated briefly in 2008 and 2009.

Jennifer Aniston has officially turned the big 5-0. The star has been active in the television and film industry since her late teens.

With her breakout role in Friends, Jennifer reached the international spotlight. She continued playing one of the show's main characters, Rachel Green, until the show's end in 2004.
She's gone on to play countless roles in film since then. Most recently, she starred in and executive-produced the Netflix movie Dumplin'.

Jennifer celebrated her 50th birthday with an extravaganza at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday.
She invited all of her loved ones to the party — including her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

"Basically, every single person who Jen loves attended. That included Brad,” a source told People.
"The party was a celebration of Jen’s life."

"Brad, for long, was a very important part of Jen’s life. She debated back and forth with friends if she should invite him," the source continued.
"She was very happy that he showed up. Many of his close friends were at the party too.”

Jennifer and Brad didn't share any moments at the party, however.
She "didn't really pay any special attention to Brad," the source said.
"They hugged and chatted for a bit, but Jen was busy making sure all of her other guests had an amazing time."

Previously, Jen has said that she doesn't view her marriages as failures just because they ended.
"My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in [my] personal opinion. And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness doesn’t exist within that arrangement anymore," she said.
Jen and Brad remain on casual texting terms, but they're not close.
Along with Brad, many of Jen's other beloved friends and colleagues from throughout the years attended the party.

Her former Friends costars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow were there, according to insider sources. The three remain close pals.

And several other friends also attended the bash, including George and Amal Clooney, Reese Witherspoon, Ellen DeGeneres, and Demi Moore, among others.
A few celebs even posted snaps from the party along with birthday wishes to Jen on Instagram.
It looks like everyone had a great time!
Interestingly enough, the party also featured other exes and exes-of-exes.
Gwyneth Paltrow attended and even posted a follow-up birthday wish. She and Brad Pitt also dated for several years in the '90s, before his marriage to Jen.

And Jennifer's other ex-boyfriend, John Mayer, was also reportedly at the party. The two dated off and on from 2008 to 2009.

And John Mayer's own ex-girlfriend Katy Perry was also at Jennifer's party! John and Katy broke up in 2014.

Basically ALL of Hollywood seems to have been at this party, so an ex or two is probably inevitable. It's good to see that everyone is still on good terms! Or at the very least, everyone loves Jen enough to put their differences aside for the night.
