Watch As Johnny Cash Performs A Jolly Version Of A Bluegrass Classic

Country fans should certainly feast their eyes on this festive performance of Johnny Cash singing "Christmas Time's A-Comin'" live.

The beloved country star recorded a version of the popular tune for his album The Johnny Cash Family Christmas, which was released in November 1972. Watching him perform it onstage makes it all that much better.

Mr. Cash sang the popular lyrics and didn't miss a beat. Of course, he added his own little flair to the song, which was written by Benjamin "Tex" Logan.

"Can't you hear them bells ringing, ringing joy, joy hear them singing/When it's snowing I'll be going back to my country home," he sang with a big smile on his face.

Much like the time the legend performed "Silent Night" with his six daughters during his televised Christmas special in 1978, this holiday performance is bound to make Cash fans smile. Lovers of the holiday season also won't be disappointed by this blast from the past.

And, by the end of the performance, you might just be singing the catchy chorus along with Cash.
