Man Stuns Everyone When He Hugs The Woman Who Killed His Wife

A Michigan man named Jordan Byelich showed the world what true compassion means with one shocking action.

Byelich's wife, Jill, was a 35-year-old mother of two. She was out riding her bike when she was struck and killed by a car.

The driver of that car, Mitzi Nelson, had been texting while she was driving.

Nelson was sentenced to 90 days in jail, but it's what came afterward that blew us away: Byelich came up to Nelson, the woman responsible for his wife's death, and hugged her.

Too often texting behind the wheel results in tragedy. Ashley died while texting the word "yeah" to her little sister instead of keeping her hands on the wheel.

Though Jordan didn't plan to show such compassion, with his wife on his mind, it was his first impulse.

He saw Mitzi in handcuffs and realized this wasn't all about him. Mitzi had a family too.

"That was the moment I felt I would have to go over and reach out to her and her family say essentially hey you know I’m thinking about you," Jordan said.

Can you imagine remaining so level-headed and kind on one of the worst days of your life? Jordan's empathy is something we can all learn from.

"If we could we’d go back in time and change it all but we can’t so we have to move on," he said.

However, it was when Jordan said four very important little words to Mitzi that left everyone stunned.

See those four words in the video below and SHARE if Jordan's compassion inspires you.
