Golf Star Jordan Spieth Reveals Who His Number 1 Inspiration Is. This Is SO Touching!

Jordan Spieth has a lot to smile about. At 21, he became the second-youngest golfer after Tiger Woods to win the Masters, one of the most distinguished sporting events.

The American golfer fulfilled a longtime dream, similarly to fellow athlete Rory McIlroy, and was awarded the green jacket, symbolizing his elite rank. He called it one of the greatest days of his life.

"To join Masters history and put my name on that trophy and to have this jacket forever, it's something that I can't fathom right now,” Spieth said.

However, there was one thing missing from his big day: his 14-year-old sister with special needs, Ellie.

"I miss her a lot, and I wish she could have been here,” Spieth told CNN. “But I can't wait to get back to her and let her maybe try on the jacket.”

Although Ellie has a neurological disorder that places her on the autism spectrum, she’s taught Spieth some important life lessons. The teen is also the inspiration for the Jordan Spieth Charitable Fund, which aims for better education for children with special needs.

"I love having her around. She's an incredible sister, my biggest supporter. She is somebody who you can watch and then reflect on the big picture of life and understand that all these frustrations in a day, or in a round of golf, are really secondary,” he said. "We wouldn't have that realization without her."
