I like to believe I would do anything for my best friend. We already share jewelry, clothing, advice, and even matching tattoos, so I thought there was nothing I wouldn't happily supply for her.
However, I'm not sure I could be quite as selfless as the amazing woman in the video below.
When Milwaukee, WI, municipal judge Joann Eiring found out that her colleague and buddy Derek Mosley was in need of a kidney transplant, she didn't hesitate to see if she would be a match.
At first, they both were afraid their drastic physical differences would mean their insides were just as incompatible. After almost a year of various testing procedures, they were thrilled to finally get the answer they were hoping for when the match was confirmed!
Both of their surgeries were a success, and now they share much more in common than identical robes for work. Mosley couldn't be more grateful for Eiring's amazingly kind gesture. Without her incredible good deed, he likely wouldn't be around today.
You have to admit, this goes way beyond your average friendship bracelet! Mosley's big smile says it all as he details how much better he's feeling and how incredible it is to know a part of Eiring will always be with him.
