What is success? Well, according to Merriam-Webster, it’s “the fact of getting or achieving wealth, respect, or fame.”
Julianne Hough, a famous dancer, singer, actress, and now a judge on Dancing with the Stars, certainly fits that definition. Yet, it took her a long time to personally feel successful.
"I pushed myself to every single limit, trying to reach that idea of success," she says. "I feel like I actually really did achieve a lot of what I had set out to achieve. But, no matter how successful I was on paper, I never really felt like I was successful. I never felt content. I was always looking to get to the next level."
Looking at Hough’s career, many might wonder how this is possible. How could a woman with such fame and a flourishing career not feel successful?!
But, it took a moment of awakening for her to really feel accomplished. That was when she became happier than she'd ever been before.
