Kanye West is known for many things, such as being married to Kim Kardashian and interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMAs. But he would have never gotten to where he is today without his trademark scowl.
Despite having fabulously white teeth, Kanye much prefers to wear a sullen frown wherever he goes. You'd think being super famous and having 21 Grammy awards would make you pretty happy, but clearly it's not enough for this rapper.
When West attended a basketball game that saw the Cleveland Cavaliers play against the Chicago Bulls, he appeared to be having a good time with one of his friends. Such a good time, in fact, that the world almost saw a smile spread across his face. But the moment he noticed the camera looking at him, Kanye immediately went back to looking like this cat whose face makes him look perpetually annoyed. Good thing Kanye managed to change his facial expression just in time! Who knows what would have happened if the world had seen him displaying real human emotions?
I really don't understand West's constant need to look miserable, but I have to respect his commitment to it. Who knows what it will take to make a real, toothy grin appear on his face? I guess we'll all just have to keep waiting to find out.
