Keisha Nash, an actress and producer, has died at age 51. She was married to actor, producer, and director Forest Whitaker for 22 years after they met each other on the set of the 1994 film Blown Away. They had two children together, Sonnet, 27, and True, 25.
True took to Instagram to share the news about her mom. "Goodbye mommy. I love you 4ever and beyond," she wrote over a photo of her mom that she shared to her Instagram Story on December 7, 2023. "The most beautiful woman in the world… thank you for teaching me every single thing I know. I'll see you in my dreams and I'll feel you in my heart."
Deadline reported that Keisha's family confirmed her death, but a cause of death has not been released.
Keisha was in the 2004 film Proud as Collette and was a producer for Kassim the Dream in 2008, according to IMDb.

Keisha had another daughter, Autumn, 32, from a previous relationship. Forest has another son, Ocean, 33, also from a previous relationship.
Keisha and Forest got married in 1996. Forest filed for divorce in 2018, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Keisha was originally from Lynn, Massachusetts, and in 2008, she visited her hometown again. She spoke with Northshore Magazine at the time.
"I have fun with it and I haven't forgotten where I come from," she said, talking to the magazine about her experience in Hollywood. "Sometimes someone at a party will make a big deal like 'I went to school in France' and I think, 'Whatever! I'm here sipping the same champagne as you!'"
In addition to being an actress and producer, Keisha also created her own cosmetics line, Kissable Couture.
"I’ve always been very ambitious,” she said in 2008 when speaking to O, The Oprah Magazine. "When my kids were younger, I tried to start a clothing line for children. But you have to be really committed to a new business, and at that time I was more focused on being a mother.”
Forest has not yet spoken publicly about Keisha's death. Many were shocked to learn of Keisha's death, given that she was relatively young.
