Losing a parent is never easy, but Kevin had to watch his mother slowly die of cancer. About 16 years ago, just before she passed away, she asked Kevin to shave her head.

In solidarity, Kevin got rid of his hair too. When she died, Kevin swore to himself that he would continue to grow his hair out, chop it off, and donate it to charity.
In the decade and a half since he lost his dear mother, he has made three donations. However, it has been years since he trimmed his long locks and thick beard. His wife of 30 years, Toni, wants to see what her beloved husband looks like again.
Kevin agreed to appear on The Rachael Ray Show to get one drastic makeover — and boy, was it drastic.
The rock-and-roll-looking husband (who joked his wife had to make him shower that day) turned into a dapper, distinguished gentleman. Wearing a blazer and sporting a new, shorter hairdo, Kevin still maintained some of his edge, keeping his thick beard.
Kevin will be donating his hair again for the fourth time, all while giving his wife something to write home about.
