Ever since Khloé Kardashian decided to stay with her cheating boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, people have been full of questions. Like, does she really forgive him? Does he sleep on the couch? Why is she doing this to herself?!
Thanks to a set of multicolored cups at Kylie Jenner's recent birthday party, more Khloé-Tristan drama is rearing its ugly head.
At Kylie's party, guests could choose from three different-colored cups. Yellow cups meant that you were single. Red cups meant that you were taken. And green cups? "It's complicated."
Well, guess who was prancing around Kylie's party drinking out of a GREEN cup? Yes. Khloé Kardashian.
Naturally, the photo caused quite the fuss. People assumed that Khloé chose the cup on purpose to send a message about her relationship with Tristan. After all, it would totally make sense if they had a "complicated" relationship — cheating on your pregnant girlfriend will do that.
This week, though, Khloé chimed in on social media to explain the green cup.
The trouble all began at Kylie Jenner's epic 21st birthday party last weekend.
Everybody had a blast, especially Khloé, who knows how to PARTY.
But her boyfriend Tristan Thompson was mysteriously missing.
And when it came time to choose from one of Kylie's customized colored cups — one for each relationship status…
Khloé apparently chose green. At least, that's the color she was holding when someone snapped a photo of her dancing.
AND in case anyone was keeping track, Tristan wasn't on the mural that Kylie had painted of her entire family. Everyone else's boos were there except for Khloé's!
Which all adds up to a pretty clear conclusion: Tristan and Khloé are either broken up, or halfway there.
Naturally, fans and media outlets have been speculating.
So Khloé stepped up to address the rumors.
"People are reaching," she wrote in a comment on a fan Instagram account. "I ordered a drink, it came in a cup, I drank it. End of story. Not that deep lol. I’m sure I drank out of every colored cup that night."
And some fans backed her up.
They pointed out that Khloé wasn't the only one who had a cup that didn't match her actual relationship status.
Kylie allegedly carried a yellow cup, meaning "single."
And she very much has a boyfriend who was there with her at the party.
So yeah — maybe the bartenders were just reaching for cups randomly.
Still, the drama was fun while it lasted.
