A Colorado homeowner named Jamie Carlton arrived home and checked his surveillance footage. He was amazed by the scene that unfolded on his doorstep earlier that day.
Jamie watched as three kids rode up to his home on their bikes and wandered up to his doorstep. Since no one was home, the security system's automatic voice said, "Hi, we can’t answer the door right now, but the camera is recording. So please just leave us a message. Thanks for coming by."
The kids appeared to place something on the stoop, and they addressed the camera. "We found your wallet outside of your car, and we just thought we would give it back to you so. I’m going to put it over here so no one takes any money."

The wallet had $700 in cash stuffed inside. It belonged to Jamie's son Nigel, whose wallet fell out of his pocket after work.
The camera then captured the three kids hopping back on their bikes and disappearing down the street.
Jamie was blown away by the children's kindness, but he had no idea who they were or where they lived. So he posted the security footage to Facebook in the hopes someone could identify them.
The clip went viral, and soon the trio of young do-gooders were hailed hometown heroes.
