Celebrities' jobs may technically involve doing things like appearing on TV or making music, but their side job is making sure they look the part of stars.
No one knows this better than Kim Kardashian West, whose entire career is arguably based on her undeniably good looks.
Deep down, we know that celebrities are real people too, but they don't always look that way. We can't help but wonder how they achieve such incredible results, and what kind of diet and exercise is responsible for their features.
In Kim's case, she has fitness coach Melissa Alcantara to thank. However, Kim and Melissa didn't connect in the traditional way. In fact, according to a season 14 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim actually sought out Mel after spying her amazing post-baby transformation on Instagram.
Since then, the pair have been spending plenty of time together at the gym.

Most of us have known about Kim Kardashian West for a number of years and can admit that she's never looked quite this good.
We also know that Kim is constantly on her phone. Apparently, she has this habit to thank for introducing her to Melissa Alcantara.
Like many women, Melissa gained some weight during her pregnancy with her daughter.
According to her Instagram, she gained a total of 70 pounds by her ninth month.
Two years after she gave birth, Melissa signed up for a popular workout program called Insanity, and initially lost a whopping 40 pounds in the first 60 days.
The transformation inspired her to become a natural body builder.
Melissa was in for another surprise when she received a call from the producers of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, who asked if she'd be willing to train Kim, as reported by People.
Melissa also tells People that Kim said she loves her own body, but just wanted to tone up.
The trainer explains: "She just wanted more muscle. She wanted bigger hamstrings, which accentuates the entire leg. And she wants those cut arms and abs!"
Other than weight training, Melissa knows the importance of nutrition.
She opened Kim's eyes to the idea and necessity of "good carbs" that were going to give her enough energy to get her reps in.
Melissa outlines her typical day:
Breakfast is usually eggs with a tortilla and a spoonful of Greek yogurt, hot sauce. Lunch is about 100g of chicken with a cup of white rice or 140g of Japanese sweet potatoes. Dinner is 1 cup of quinoa or white rice chicken or lean beef.
Snack is salmon with green beans.
Before bed I’ll have 1 scoop of protein with 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, spinach, cinnamon and a little peanut butter.
The pair work out together six days a week, and you can most certainly tell that Melissa knows what she's doing based on both her own and Kim's amazing results.
