Kim Tucci of Perth, Western Australia, made a splash on the internet last last year when she posed for a pregnancy photo shoot on the beach.
The shoot was lovely, with the rolling waves and pale sands as a backdrop, but what really struck people was that Tucci wasn't just pregnant, she was pregnant with quintuplets!
Needless to say, carrying five tiny babies was no easy task. Just ask Marcie Dela Cruz, Kathy Somoano, or Danielle Busby, all moms of quintuplets who had to make some serious adjustments!
But just like these other moms, Tucci wouldn't have it any other way — even when it gets super stressful. After all, having one baby is stressful enough, so just imagine five!
Tucci's quints were born in January of this year. They are four girls, Ali, Penelope, Tiffany, and Beatrix, and one boy, Keith.
And that's not all. Tucci also has a 9-year-old son from a previous marriage, as well as two young daughters with her current husband. That means her family went from three kids to eight all at once!
But for the Tuccis, it's all worth it. The five tiny new members of their family are settling in, and recently, they posed for a photo shoot with their mom with photographer Erin Elizabeth Hoskins.

When Kim Tucci and her husband, Vaughn, decided to have a baby, they were planning on one more to total four children.
But they got more than they ever expected: quintuplets, a 1-in-60-million possibility.

The shock spurred the Tuccis to quickly readjust their lives for five more kids, and Kim Tucci's story quickly gained her attention online, where she started blogging.
She quickly gained thousands of followers, many of them also young mothers.
Needless to say, her beautiful pregnancy photo shoot quickly went viral.

The pregnancy was grueling for Tucci, who wrote candidly of back pain, an average of 12 trips to the bathroom per night, and eating about 6,000 calories per day to provide energy to the five babies and to herself.
But looking at these blissful maternity photos, you'd never guess!

Then the big day arrived in January: Ali, Penelope, Tiffany, Beatrix, and Keith were born to Kim and Vaughn Tucci this January in a truly life-altering event for the young family.
Formerly the parents of three, the Tuccis are now the parents of eight!

Recently, Kim Tucci posed with her five newest additions in a beautiful, pastel-hued photo shoot.
Though they've posted some photos of the babies before, this is the first time the family had a professional shoot.

The photos capture the sleepy babies at their most peaceful but, as anyone with children knows, it's not always this calm!

And Tucci is not shy about the less-than-glamorous aspects of being the mother of eight, and talks candidly about the times when it gets truly overwhelming.

She's said that there have been times when she's locked herself in the bathroom to have a good cry when it all gets to be too much.
And for someone with seven children under the age of 5 and one 9-year-old, that is totally a right she's earned!

All five babies get fed eight times a day (so that's 40 feedings daily), and the couple estimates that they change about 350 diapers per week.
Today, the family gets help from volunteers to care for all of the children. "You just gotta do it," Tucci says simply. "We haven't got a choice."
They also currently have to split the kids between two cars when they go anywhere because they don't all fit!

But despite all of this, the Tuccis couldn't be happier.
Their joy stems from the fact that the chance of all five babies surviving the pregnancy was actually quite low.
They had to stay in intensive care after their birth for six weeks until they were strong enough to come home.

However, there's a GoFundMe up to help the Tucci family get a large van so they can all travel together.
Check that out, and see what the babies are up to on Kim Tucci's Facebook page, too. You can also see Erin Elizabeth Hoskins' other photography work on her website and Facebook.
