Siron the cat was born without eyelids, a condition that made things tough from the moment he was born, and that even threatened his life. After arriving at a local humane society at only four months old, Siron was fostered by volunteer worker Roxie Smith.
Because the surgery needed to correct Siron's eyes would be so expensive, a local veterinary program offered to do it for free. And after several months, Siron was finally able to blink, and feel like a normal cat again!
The best part about his story is that one of the vet students who worked on him ended up adopting him!
