Dad Realizes Twin Daughters Are Missing At 4 AM, Then Cop Finds 1 Tiny Footprint Near Dark Alley

On January 17, 1997, the Woracek family were woken to a most horrible shock.

The father, Tom Woracek, was getting ready for work when he noticed the lights were on at home and the front door was open. It didn't take long to realize that his twin daughters, just 3 years old, were gone. What commenced was a terrifying search for the two girls. Authorities located them, but the danger wasn't over. The two were found frozen, one on top of the other. The resilient girls survived and now, 20 years later, they are about to watch their own rescue footage from that fateful night.

There was a half-foot of snow on the ground at the time of the search in Omaha, Nebraska, and temperatures were below zero.

Apparently, twins Jennifer and Kourtney just decided to get up and leave the house for an adventure.

The officers found the girls in an alley. Kourtney was on top of her sister, Jennifer.

Sergeant Troy Kister said Kourtney looked up at him and his fellow officers and said, "Help my sister."

Officier Allen Wagner wrapped his jacket around Jennifer, but she was frozen and had stopped breathing.

If it hadn't been for the efforts of the officers and medical personnel involved in the rescue of the twins, they might not have survived the night.

Watch the twins as they meet their rescuers and see footage of that night for the first time, and please SHARE this stunning story with your friends and family on Facebook.
