But if you really love Julia, you can now stay in her house and have all kinds of culinary adventures.
Thanks to Airbnb, Child’s cottage in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, France, is available for five-night-minimum stays, and features her fully preserved kitchen, complete with all her utensils and cooking equipment.

Julia Child is known the world over for bringing traditional French cooking into the average home kitchen.
Her seminal book, Mastering the Art of French Cooking, taught home cooks everywhere how to boost their cooking and became a staple.
Child also starred in her own cooking show, where she demonstrated how to make her dishes.
Her personable, sometimes wacky personality and honest approach to cooking made her a hit. She's often credited with starting the fine-food craze in the U.S. back in the 1970s.
Here, she is posing with some interesting seafood.
Child and her husband, Paul, built this stucco cottage in the Provence region of France, which is known for its cuisine. It was called "La Pitchoune," or "La Peetch" for short.
Child sold the property in 1992, after the death of her husband.
Today, it's owned by American couple Evie and Makenna Johnston, who use it to run a cooking school called La Peetch in honor of Child.
But during the off-season, you can stay here via Airbnb.
The kitchen has remained intact and just the way Child left it in 1992, with all the original pots, pans, and utensils that she would have used to cook.
Even her original labels remain on her food containers.
And of course, there's plenty of Julia memorabilia scattered around, too.
Guests are encouraged to cook in the kitchen, but they must use the space and the utensils with utmost care.
You may notice that the counters seem a bit high. That's because they were constructed specifically for Child, who stood 6'2.
The kitchen Child used on her shows, built in her Massachusetts home, is installed as a display in the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.
Guests can stay in the house while the cooking school is not is session, which means it's available from October to April and in July and August.
The rest of the house is adorable, too, with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and room enough for six people.
The rate is $610 a night with a five-night minimum, which is not cheap, but split six ways, it's a bit more manageable.
The house also comes with a concierge who can provide food and wines for guests, as well as organize tours of the region for an even more well-rounded experience of the historic region.
And it takes full advantage of the beautiful, sunny region with plenty of yard and patio space, as well as gardens, all accessible to guests.
And there's even a pool!
So if you loved trying out Julia Child's recipes, or just watching her antics on TV, take some time to swoon over this incredible destination on Airbnb.
And even if you can't get to Provence, try bringing the spirit region home with some adventurous cooking!
And be sure to SHARE this with your foodie friends. Maybe you'll even convince some of them to chip in for a group vacation!
