Plenty of us loved a good game of tug-of-war when we were kids (and maybe even as adults, too), but I bet you never played it like this before. A few people decided to put a huge Dodge Ram against a much smaller Land Rover Defender. The engines rev, smoke billows, and in the end… Well, that was an outcome I certainly wasn't expecting!
Many of the vehicles we pass by on the streets are incredibly powerful machines (not that it stopped this gator from tearing one apart with its jaws), and massive pickup trucks in particular can be pretty intimidating. A lot of them emit a loud rumble as they drive by, and seeing them pull massive loads behind them can be positively awe-inspiring. That's why I never thought that little Land Rover would get dragged like a rag doll by that Ram, but just like this nerdy kid who blew everyone away in a dance-off, it seems as though I really underestimated the underdog here!
I would definitely not recommend trying this at home, but it's still pretty cool to watch two big machines go at it in a battle of brawn. I guess when it comes to vehicles, it really is what's on the inside that counts… Although I wouldn't put your SmartCar up against an 18-wheeler any time soon.
