Postman Delivers Christmas Card To House With Unknown Address Thanks To Clue In Sender’s Note

During the holiday season, it's not only the perfect time to give gifts, but also the perfect time to send cards to loved ones and friends far away.

Let's be honest: after a few weeks, the cards we receive (and undoubtedly the cards we send) get stuffed into boxes and stored away, likely never to be read again. In some cases, they even end up in the trash!

However, after the effort one postman went through to get one Christmas card to its destination, Antony Wren and his wife are likely to keep the card as a souvenir of sorts.

The couple, from the United Kingdom, moved away and sent their new address in holiday cards they sent out a previous year. But unfortunately, it seemed like at least one former colleague didn't get the new address, as his sneaky note to the postman suggested. Now, the 'address' written down is gaining a lot of popularity online!

When Antony Wren and his wife moved, they sent holiday cards to all their friends and family telling them their new address.

One of the cards must not have made it to its destination, as one of Antony's former colleagues wanted to send his family a card this year, and had no idea where they lived!

The former colleague decided to send the card anyway.

As the address, he wrote, "Somewhere Near The Sea In Suffolk." He even included a sneaky little note for the postman, wishing him good luck on finding the Wrens' house!

But the card made it to its destination in just 4 days, and Antony even posted a photo of it online thanking Royal Mail for delivering it in such a timely fashion — and before the holidays, no less!
