Pop singer Taylor Swift recently visited Boston Children's Hospital and gave a 20-year-old leukemia patient the surprise of a lifetime. The young man named Ben was recovering from a bone marrow transplant when Swift stopped by his room to say hi. When she noticed the keyboard in his room, she asked him to play a song for her.
The young man had recently started learning "Someone Like You" by Adele, so Swift happily agreed to sing along as he played. He later posted the duet of him and Swift performing on YouTube Aug. 5, and since then, the clip has been watched more than 580,000 times!
According to Ben, "This was the most amazing moment in my life being able to accompany Taylor Swift. She is super nice and cordial and probably made everyone's day here at the hospital. It was so great of her to visit all of us here at the hospital. And in case you are wondering, I did get a hug from her, unfortunately it wasn't caught on video!"
