Mom Orders Little Caesars Pizza In Honor Of Late Son, Then Opens Box And Sees Kind Note Inside

Losing a child is one of the most difficult things someone can go through in life. No matter how old the child is, or how they pass away, it's absolutely devastating for parents and other family members.

One woman, Andrea M. Klann, lost her baby boy, Easton, on July 8, 2016, just hours after he entered the world.

Although the sweet infant passed away shortly after he was born, his parents loved him with their entire hearts. Like this dad, who saw his son's ghost in a photo, Andrea always knew her son would impact her life.

On July 8, 2017, Andrea decided to have a get-together to remember her son and the effect he had on the family.

Andrea ordered some pizzas from Little Caesars to feed her guests, but when her boyfriend came back with the pizzas, he had one extra. Andrea was confused, until she opened the box and saw a note from management at Little Caesars.

The Little Caesars in my town of Lugoff, South Carolina, went above and beyond yesterday with my order.

I lost my son a year ago today and went to place an order of 15 pizzas.

A worker asked what it was for and I explained for a remembrance get-together for my son.

When my boyfriend went to pick up the pizzas, the management told him they had an extra on the house.

On top of the box was a note to enjoy our day of remembrance and God Bless All.

We opened the pizza box to find a pizza with a big heart made of pepperoni.

It was the sweetest gesture on a rough day.

People who saw Andrea's story were immediately moved.

One woman commented, "Sometimes it really is the little things — like a heart made out of pepperoni — to show you there are good people in the world."

Other people explained that this is not out of the ordinary for Little Caesars, a company that prides itself on their customer service.

One woman explained, "A couple weeks after my dad died, Little Caesars called to check on him because they were worried they hadn't seen him. And I found a Christmas card from them in his things when I was cleaning out his apartment."
