There are so many moments in other people's lives that remind us of how lucky we are. Whether we're reminded to acknowledge that we're lucky to have shelter, have food, or simply be alive, we all have things to be grateful for.
And the pretty terrifying video below, in which a camera pans over a building just to catch a little girl dangling from a window, is one of those things that remind us to be grateful. If for nothing else, for our lives.
When this 6-year-old climbed out of the sixth-floor window of her building, as you might guess, panic ensued below.
Strangers and workers tried to come up with as many ways as they could to save her if, God forbid, she fell.
Thankfully, she did not. A worker nearby was able to get into his machinery and ride it up toward her.
He grabbed her, took her on board, and carried her down to safety.
This moment is absolutely horrifying, but thankfully it had a happy ending. The little girl was lucky to be saved, and we're all lucky to know that there are still some great people out there being selfless for the sake of others.
