Riding the train can be a real adventure sometimes. It doesn't matter if you're in New York or London, there will always be one kind of character or another on your train car.
I've only ridden the train in London once or twice, so I can't speak for what it's like across the pond. I can only speak from experience on New York subways.
Everyone seems to want to keep to themselves, paying as little attention to the folks around them as possible.
But that becomes hard when some folks come onboard wanting to give a show of some sort!
In New York, the performance is often a dance, where the performers toss themselves all through the train car, spinning on the poles in a truly impressive manner. Most of the time, no one will even turn their head. We just keep staring at our phones or out the window ahead of us. That's just become the normal way of interacting on the train. However, when the performance is over, multiple people will often leave a tip in their hat, showing that they did, in fact, enjoy the show.
When these two men below decided to give a musical performance on the evening commute, the crowd seemed a bit tough at first.
But, there's always one or two people who will show how much they actually appreciated it! All these guys wanted to do was to add a little light in these commuters' days.
I think, deep down, they really did.
Please SHARE with your family and friends on Facebook if you don't mind mini concerts like these on the train!
