Brass Band ‘Lucky Chops’ Will Blow You Away With This ‘Funky Town’ Mash-Up

If you've ever been to New York, you're familiar with the hundreds of street performers trying to make a little extra cash by playing songs in the subway stations. Sometimes they're just alright, but other times… They're some of the best acts you've ever seen. In fact you might even be watching a touring band without even realizing it.

Regardless of who they are, it's clear that there is definitely a ton of untapped talent in New York. It's everywhere! But there are some people that were just meant to perform for audiences, to give it every last bit they've got. One brass band, Lucky Chops, is definitely full of people like this.

There are so many wonderful musicians out there, that since 1985, the MTA has been running a program called Music Under New York so that talented musicians like Lucky Chops can showcase their stuff, and so that commuters get to see something awesome on an otherwise boring or even stressful trip to work.

If you've ever been so lucky to see these guys perform live, whether busking on the subways or when they're touring as a band… I am so jealous of you! This mash-up of 'Funky Town' and 'I Feel Good' is 100% guaranteed to put a huge smile on your face, and definitely make you groove along with them, too! They take these classics and turn them into something totally their own. One of the best parts of this performance is that you can clearly tell that these musicians love what they do!
