Most people tend to jump, run, or even scream when a buzzing bee zooms by them. Whether you are allergic or just downright scared of being stung, the natural reaction is usually to get away as quickly as possible.
Typically, a bee isn't approaching you with the intent to sting you, but rather to check out what kind of food or drink you have in front of you. Remaining calm and gently brushing the bee away is usually your best best to get the pesky guys to leave you and your meal alone, but when there's more than one…you might be in trouble.
Gao Bingguo, a beekeeper in China has basically mastered the art of remaining calm around bees, and it's kind of required seeing as how it is his job, but you would think that even a professional may lose his cool when over 1 million bees are not only swarming around you, but also attached to you! (And we aren't talkin' cute cats dressed as bees, we're talkin' the real deal!)
In this daring stunt to beat out a former word record holder, Gao Bingguo allows friends to "pour" bees on to him after attached about a dozen to attract the rest of their friends. Not only does Bingguo stay calm, but he seems almost totally relaxed, smoking a cigarette as the 1.1 million bees frantically buzz around him.
