Man Finds Bible Peeking Through Plane Crash Rubble, Then Sees A Name Written On A Page Inside

Journalist Roberto Cabrini was standing at a plane crash site in Colombia. There were waves of rubble scattered on the ground surrounding him. Through the remains, something popped out at him.

Roberto bent down and picked up an open, mildly burnt book. As it turns out, Roberto had fished a bible out of the miscellaneous plane parts. The reporter flipped through the tattered pages. Some sheets were damaged more than others, but overall, the bible was in sturdy condition after surviving a plane crash.

Then, Roberto saw something striking: an owner's name.

A note inside of the bible wrote out the name "Helio Neto." That was the name of a famous Colombian soccer player. Helio was sent to the hospital in critical condition after surviving the horrendous crash. Could it be that the Bible saved him?

Now that he was holding this book, the journalist made quite the decision: an eager Roberto contacted Helio's wife, Simone, and took the Bible with him.

Simone was clearly shaken up by her husband's near-death experience and was still distraught about his current state in the hospital. But that was all about to change for a small moment.

Roberto presented the torn book to Helio's wife and said, "Now I'm sure I made a good choice rescuing it, hey?"

Simone turned through the pages, feeling the texture of the papers. She replied, "Of course! No doubt about it."

She seemed overwhelmed by the reporter's gift. In the end, the journalist brought Simone just what she needed — a gesture of security and hope in her and her husband's time of need.
