Sarah showed her fiancé, Daniel, a photo of a shelter puppy who needed to be saved quickly to avoid being put down. The next day, unbeknownst to Sarah, Daniel visited the shelter and put a hold on the pup. Not only that, but Daniel brought home a gift that day, and he kept the whole thing a secret from his beloved.
The second Sarah walks through the door, the look on her face is priceless!
We love a good puppy surprise around these parts, but what makes this one so incredibly special is the fact that Daniel and Sarah chose to save a dog from being euthanized. According to the ASPCA, approximately 2.7 million animals are euthanized (1.2 million dogs and 1.4 million cats) each year. Approximately 2.7 million shelter animals are adopted each year (1.4 million dogs and 1.3 million cats). Adoption is a wonderful thing, and I'm so happy Jax got the second chance he deserved… before it was too late.
It’s a beautiful thing to watch a family grows from two to three, and lucky for us, it's all captured on camera. Ya did well, Daniel… ya did real well 🙂
