It is hard to predict exactly what life will throw at you. There is only so much you can control, but you are always subject to the actions of others.
One man found himself the victim of a particularly vile act: a disgruntled coworker invaded Josh Abram's home with a gun. A bullet struck Josh in the head.
No one expected him to survive, including his fiancée. But miraculously, he did, though week after week she and his doctors expected the worst-case scenario.
Now, two months after the incident, Josh is still alive and recovering. He will suffer from long-term trauma to his brain and from measures taken to save his life, but he is able to communicate.
Despite his condition, his family remains hopeful and knows that if Josh has made it so far after becoming the victim of such a terrible crime, then he will eventually pull through and overcome each hurdle that is put in his path.
His fiancée even says that she is "blessed" to be able to still see him in front of her.
Josh and his family still have a long road ahead of them, but with their faith, strength, and willpower, they know that they will be in good hands!
