"What are you all runnin from!? Somebody after you? Where are you going?" These were the questions asked by a group of locals as they noticed hundreds of marathon runners sprinting by their old blue truck. When the group of locals got closer to investigate, they decided to give these odd running strangers some entertainment!
It turned out that these runners were all participating in the Franklin Half Marathon, which takes place in the beautiful state of Tennessee. The group of "hillbillies" decided that they wanted to set up a hilarious banjo line and start playing some tunes for the health nuts.
While at first the marathon participants seemed a bit wary of the group of men, by the end of the event many of them were actually stopping to take photos with them. Red Duck Cantrell and his friends all did a terrific job at keeping the runners entertained by playing some amazing riffs on the banjo, and they're all happy to say that they plan on doing it again next year, too.
Adding some much-needed "local flavor" to the event, this group of friends really added their own unique twist to the marathon. While no one ever answered their initial question of "What are you all running from!?" that's probably because they were running away from them!
What would you do if you came across this group of hilarious musicians? Let us know in the comments below!
And please SHARE this fantastic prank with all of your marathon running friends!
