The brave, selfless, amazing men and women of our military deserve recognition more than anyone else, but many times coming home can be a difficult time. For thirteen US Marines returning home from Afghanistan, it was just the opposite, as they received a heartwarming surprise during their layover at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.
As the Marines stepped off the plane, they were greeted by a large crowd of firefighters, police officers and USO volunteers, who gathered on short-notice to cheer on and welcome home the soldiers. The Marines, who were on the flight for over 14 hours, did not see the happy surprise coming at all. For their flight from Chicago to San Diego, seven passengers gave up their first-class seats for Marines and the others were upgraded.
This story brought so much joy to my day. No one deserves it more! Please say thank you to these wonderful soldiers. SHARE this video!
