Meet Marnie, the blue Indian ringneck parrot. This talented — and very outspoken — bird sure has a lot to say, and it's insanely adorable!
In the video, Marnie flies into the room and lands on his owner's shoulder. The first question he asks her is, "What are you doing?"
As if it couldn't get any better, the human and bird carry on a lengthy conversation, in which the bird even says, "I love you!"
"He is a natural charmer, a polite Casanova who is not shy to ask for what he wants… which is often a kiss! And he likes to have fun!" his owners wrote on his official website.
Have you ever seen anything like this before?! This bird couldn't be any sweeter if he tried.
According to his owners, "Marnie is a blue mutation of an Indian ringneck parakeet, which is a bright green in the wild. Because of their hooked beak and long tail, and their small size, they are classified as a parakeet but are true parrots."
Birds are naturally vocal, mimicking everything from villainous laughter to the Beach Boys. It should come as no surprise that birds rank near the top in intelligence among the animal kingdom.
Anyone who thinks birds aren’t as awesome as other pets needs to see this video. Although all animals have unique traits, birds seem to be quite quirky and cheeky.
