Every woman I know has dreamed of a man "popping the question" since they were young. It's hard not to and I admit I've definitely imagined some pretty crazy scenarios over the years.
However, as I get older and see all the crazy ways people declare their love, I realize that a proposal is really not about the ring or the way your loved one asks for your hand. All that really matters at the end of the day is that it truly comes from the heart.
When professional photographer Marvin Lewis decided that he had found the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, he knew he had to do something special to surprise his lady. Instead of making a huge scene and involving a million people, Lewis decided to plan something a little more personal with just the two of them…and I have to say, this is one of the sweetest proposal surprises I've seen in a while.
Of all the photo shoots Lewis has ever had to plan, the following video reveals the one he — and his girlfriend — will remember most for the rest of their lives. Lewis' girlfriend probably had no idea what was coming when she agreed to be his model, but as soon as she looks at the photos on his camera, my heart melted.
