According to a police report, Roxanne stands accused of attempting to poison her husband by tampering with his soup, in what appears to be a sinister act orchestrated by someone posing as a soap opera actor.
The shocking chain of events unfolded when homemaker Roxanne prepared a bowl of soup for her husband, who subsequently fell ill and was rushed to the hospital. Suspicions arose when the couple’s daughter, upon visiting her father in the hospital, stumbled upon alarming messages on her mother’s cellphone.
The messages, purportedly from a scammer impersonating soap actor Thorsten Kaye from The Bold and the Beautiful, contained chilling directives to “get rid of your husband.” Shockingly, Roxanne responded to these messages by mentioning a “special potion” in the soup and discussing the possibility of collecting life insurance.
Despite the mounting evidence against her, Roxanne, 64, vehemently denies any involvement in poisoning her husband and maintains that they prepared the soup together on Thanksgiving night. In an emotional plea to the media, she expressed a desperate desire to salvage her marriage, stating, “I want my marriage back. I want my husband back.”
But tensions escalated further when police attempted to retrieve Roxanne’s phone as evidence. In a dramatic altercation, she resisted arrest and allegedly assaulted an officer, resulting in additional charges being filed against her. Authorities have ordered Roxanne to remain confined to her house except for medical appointments, pending further investigation.
