Boy’s Act Of Kindness For Crash Victim Comes Full Circle

On June 30, 2016, 18-year-old Brent Price was killed in a car accident. He had just graduated high school and had been accepted into college to start his degree in dentistry. Following his tragic death, Price's West Memphis community gathered to hold a candlelight vigil at a local park.

A little boy named Max, 10, happened to pass by the vigil. Max had never met Price before, but when he learned the reason behind the gathering, he was immediately touched. That's when Max ran home, spilled all the money out of his piggy bank, and ran back to the vigil with three dollars in his hand. But he didn't stop there.

Max donated the change from his mother's purse, then returned once more to the vigil with $20. When Max grows up, he wants to be a country musician, and for fives weeks, he had been saving up for a guitar — until he donated all of his savings to Brent Price's funeral expenses. "You know what, they need it more," Max told FOX13. "Just forget about the guitar. I can get that later."

News spread fast about Max's wonderful act of kindness. He was featured on the front page of the local newspaper and earned himself the following news segment with FOX13. And then, just as Max and the reporter were leaving the same park where Brent Price's vigil was held, a stranger stopped them for the most unbelievable reason…
