They Give This Meerkat A Christmas Wreath. What He Does With It? AMAZING!

Six meerkats at the San Diego Zoo were treated to some early Christmas gifts this year. Zookeepers placed four wreaths made from gravura plants grown at the zoo into the animals' exhibit, and in no time, the adorable meerkats tussled over wreaths.

According to the zoo, "The wreaths were part of the regular animal enrichment activities planned by the animal care staff during the Zoo’s annual event Jungle Bells." Each wreath was accented with red hibiscus flowers and featured a bow created from parts of a palm tree. To encourage the meerkats’ natural behavior of foraging and digging, each wreath was trimmed with mealworms, a staple of the meerkats’ diet at the zoo.

In the video, the meerkats seem to get into the holiday spirit and are truly enjoying the decor. You can't help but smile watching these exotic animals enjoy the seasonal entertainment.
