In yet another Clinton controversy, The New York Times dubbed the upcoming book Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich the "most anticipated and feared book of a presidential cycle still in its infancy.” If Hillary has anything to hide, she's got reason to be concerned for the future of her career.
Judicial Analyst Judge Napolitano spoke with Megyn Kelly from Fox News' The Kelly File to discuss the Clinton Foundation's alleged quid pro quo donations.
When she was acting as secretary of state, Hillary had been receiving financial donations from companies. The New York Times reported that Canadian records show that the chairman of a Russian-owed uranium company gave over $2 million to the Clinton Foundation. After giving donations, Russia began to push for control of a Canadian Uranium company.
To make matters worse for Hillary, a Kremlin bank paid $500,000 to Bill Clinton for delivering a speech in Moscow. Eventually, the Russian–Canadian uranium deal was approved. This seemingly obvious conflict of interest has raised more than a few eyebrows.
If the book's allegations stand up to scrutiny, it will be no surprise that if a criminal investigation of Hillary's possible bribery charges becomes a career-killing problem.
The book, written by Peter Schweizer, will be released on May 5, 2015. We'll be waiting to see what Hillary's response to these allegations will be.
What do you think about these potentially career-ending allegations? Does it sound like something the Clintons would do? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
